Fans for Seniors
Join with United Way of Greater High Point to help serve folks in our community with no air conditioning during summer - partner with us to donate fans, or work with us to deliver, and serve during the event.
Timing: Summer
Gift of Warmth
Join with United Way of Greater High Point to help serve folks in our community with no heat during winter- partner with us to donate heaters, or work with us to deliver, and serve during the event.
Timing: Winter
CANpaign Food Drive
Join United Way of Greater High Point to collect non-perishable food items and volunteer with us at the office to help sort collections.
Timing: September
Wyndham Golf Tournament
Enjoy a beautiful golf tournament while serving alongside of United Way of Greater High Point staff and volunteers - we help serve Hole #4 as Gallery Marshalls. The Wyndham is gracious to help our Backpack program!

African American Initiative - Supporting Minorities and Underserved Groups
Engaging meetings and events held throughout the year to serve minorities and under-served communities, through mentoring and programs to boost growth.​
Packing Backpacks
United Way of Greater High Point provides 1,900 Backpacks to children within Guilford County weekly - the purpose is to keep children fed over the weekend.
- Volunteer to help pack Backpacks each week.

Little Free Libraries
Help in collecting and refilling Library boxes within our local area.
Timing:Year Round
Community Day
Set up a table to provide information about United Way to our community in partnership with High Point Police Department. Bonus - play fun games with the youth and children present!

Salvation Army Bell Ringing
Sign up to ring the bell at participating locations - have fun and dress in your favorite Christmas attire and sing a carol or two! Collecting money to help fund Salvation Army programs.

Winter Kit Drive
Collect items to help keep the homeless in our community warm during the winter, and help us pack the bags during Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
