Join Us on a Journey Through Our Legacy

As we celebrate our 90th anniversary in 2025, we invite you to travel with us through time — month by month — as we reflect on the people, programs, and partnerships that have shaped United Way of Greater High Point.

From our humble beginnings serving a community of 40,000 to today’s thriving city of over 117,000, we’ve grown alongside High Point, evolving to meet the needs of each generation. This milestone is more than a celebration of the past — it’s a tribute to the generosity, resilience, and shared purpose that will carry us into the next 90 years.

Each month, UWGHP President Jane Liebscher shares a special column in The High Point Enterprise, highlighting stories from past campaign chairs, board leaders, volunteers, and community champions. These reflections honor our longstanding partners and spotlight the real, lasting change your support has made possible.
