United Way of Greater High Point (UWGHP), in partnership with Senior Resources of Guilford, is bringing back the much-needed Fans for Seniors program to help older adults and people with disabilities beat the summer heat.
Seniors and adults with disabilities who need a fan to stay cool this summer can call Senior Resources of Guilford at (336) 884-6981 to see if they qualify.
To qualify, recipients must:
· Be 60 or older (with photo ID) or a disabled adult (proof of disability and photo ID required)
· Live in Guilford County (with proof of residency)
· No access to adequate cooling that poses a health risk
